CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS OF "ECONOMY STYLE" MODULAR BARNS

Our Modular Barns with 3/12 roof pitch are designed for the most affordable way to build a center aisle horse barn. The barn sections are delivered fully constructed, with stalls, stall sliding doors, windows and with roof already on. By placing these sections 8',10' or 12' apart you can have an aisle way that best suits your needs. Once all the sections are in place and attached to foundation (concrete piers), all that is left to do is to finish the roof over the aisle way, two gable ends and to install the aisle way sliding doors. After this your barn is complete and ready to be used.

Note: Due to the low back wall on these barns, we recommend to go with standard modular barn if you have or planning to have large horses.

CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS FOR "ECONOMY STYLE" MODULAR BARNS WITHOUT LOFT

Framing: 6"x6" pressure treated Southern Yellow Pine sills under each wall & partition. Oak post & beam style framing - 4"x4" posts with 2"x4" girts & braces. 1"x10" white pine board & batten siding (vertical).

Stalls: Each stall comes standard with 4' high oak kickboards double between stalls with 32" high steel grill on top (powder coated black), one 4'x7' sliding door per stall, one grill insert in stall front and one 8-lite window with heavy duty window grill in the back of each stall (4'x7' Dutch door in back is optional).
Stall Fronts: Stall fronts are finished with vertical 1"x8" T&G white pine & have one black powder coated 36" high grill insert and one black powder coated 4'x7' sliding door per stall.

Hardware: Black powder coated latches and "Cannon Ball" hardware is used for sliding doors. Hot dipped galvanized fasteners are used for framing.

Tack Room/Storage Room: Comes with wooden floor (2"x6" pressure treated floor joists 16" o.c. under 5/8" CDX plywood decking). One 3'x7' entrance door and one 8-lite window.

Wash Stall: Comes standard with 5/8" pressure treated plywood walls and an opening into aisle way.

Roof: Comes standard with 2"x6" rafters 16" o.c. 3/12 roof pitch, 7/16" OSB sheathing (1/2" plywood is optional), 15 lb. felt paper underlayment and 30 year architectural asphalt shingles (metal roof is optional).

Dimensions: Front wall - 10' high, back wall - 7' high (recommended for horses under 16 hands).
